Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Announced with 5600 Vacancies Ahead of Assembly Elections
HSSC to Begin Online Applications from September 10; Election Dates for Haryana Assembly Set for October 1
Just before the announcement of the dates of the Haryana Assembly elections, the notification of Bumper Police Recruitment 2024 has been issued in the state. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released the notification of Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 on Friday. According to the notification issued, a total of 5600 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.
According to the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment Notification released on August 16, online applications will start from 10 September 2024. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form by visiting the official website of the Commission- hssc.gov.in till 24 September 2024 at 11:59 pm. The special thing is that no fee will be charged for applying.
Constable (GD) Male: 4000 posts
(Non-ESM ESP: Gen=1440, SC=720, BCA=560, BCB=320, EWS=400, ESM-GEN=280, ESM-SC=80, ESM-BCA=80, ESM-BCB=120)
Constable (GD) Female: 600 posts
(Non-ESM ESP: Gen=258, SC=108, BCA=84, BCB=48, EWS=18, ESM-GEN=42, ESM-SC=12, ESM-BCA=12, ESM-BCB=18)
Constable (Indian Reserve Battalion): 1000 posts

Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Must have passed 12th (10+2) from a recognized board or institute. In 10th, one of the subjects should be Hindi or Sanskrit. Keep in mind that no separate preference will be given to candidates with higher education. On the other hand, the minimum age limit of eligible applicants should be 18 years and a maximum of 25 years as on 1 September 2024. However, reserved category candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit.
Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected based on merit obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. An adequate number of candidates will be called for physical measurement and then a physical screening test. Both of these will be qualifying. The HSSC may do so in as many batches as it deems necessary so that eligible candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts in each category can be shortlisted for the knowledge test. The knowledge test will be given a weightage of 94.5 percent. Those who have an NCC certificate will get three additional marks.
Today, the Election Commission announced the dates for the elections for 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly. Voting for all 90 seats in Haryana will be held in a single phase. Voting for all 90 seats will be held on October 1 and the election results will be declared after counting of votes on October 4. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the election schedule.
