Industry Minister Urges Bihar Startups to Make State "World's Largest Startup Hub"
Nitish Mishra addresses Startup Spark 2.0 event showcasing 5 innovative Bihar-based companies;

Industry Minister Nitish Mishra praised the innovative work of startups in Bihar and urged them to establish Bihar as the world's largest startup hub. He said that the Industry Department will continue to cooperate in every way to promote startups. To advance the goal of developed India, it is necessary to enhance the entrepreneurship system of Bihar. The Industry Minister was addressing the "Startup Spark 2.0" program on Tuesday. Through this program organized in the auditorium of the Industry Department located in Vikas Bhawan Secretariat, innovative products of startups established in Bihar were showcased, which are ready to enter the market.
"Startup Spark 2.0" will prove to be an important launchpad for upcoming startups of Bihar, providing them an opportunity to meet investors, mentors and industry leaders and expand their ideas. This initiative is in line with the Bihar Startup Policy 2022, which works significantly in establishing a strong and prosperous entrepreneurship system in the state by providing seed capital, collaboration and guidance to startups.
Organised in collaboration with BSFC and IIT Patna's Incubation Centre, the event aimed to provide a platform to startups to connect and discuss.
Five startups presented their products in the event. These included 'Bhojpatta Agripreneur Pvt. Ltd. (Nitish Kumar) - Zero Carbon Emission Dryer', CreditBucket Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Sourav Suman) - Payment Soundbox Tools', Hypro Tech Pvt. Ltd. (Abhishek Kumar) - Surveillance Drone', 'AR Online Service Pvt. Ltd. (Aman Ranjan) - Virtual Fashion App' and Concept of Super Foods LLP (Shravan Kumar) - Makhana Based Food Products'. During the event, prize cheques were presented to the entrepreneurs benefitted under the Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme and the winners of investment in "Spark 2.0".
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Department Mihir Kumar Singh, Director Mukul Kumar Gupta, Handicraft and Silk Director Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar, Technical Development Director Shekhar Anand and IIT Patna's IC in-charge Professor Dr. Sudhir Kumar were present among others.
