Punjab Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat termed the recent judgment of the Hon’ble Court in the excise policy case as a victory of truth and democratic values. He said that the acquittal of AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and other accused has proved that the allegations levelled against them were false and baseless.

Mr. Bhagat stated that the court’s decision has further strengthened the faith of the common people in the judiciary and reaffirmed that ultimately truth and justice prevail. He said several attempts were made to tarnish the image of a democratically elected leadership, but the truth has now emerged through due judicial process.

Describing Mr. Arvind Kejriwal as a committed and visionary leader, Mr. Bhagat said that despite political challenges, he has remained dedicated to transparent governance and public welfare. He added that the Hon’ble Court’s decision will further reinforce democratic traditions in the country and highlight the importance of truth and justice.
