Musical Quiz Marks Birth Centenary Celebrations of Sur-Samrat Ravi in Patna

Under the auspices of the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Bihar, in collaboration with the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation Limited and the Bihar Museum, Patna, a special musical quiz competition was held on the second day of the program "Ek Shaam Sur-Samrat Ravi Ke Naam" organized to commemorate the birth centenary of the legendary musician Ravi.

This exciting competition featured questions based on scenes and facts related to the life of the legendary musician Ravi, his musical journey, and his timeless songs. Four groups—Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D—participated in the competition and presented a spirited competition in five rounds.

Team B emerged victorious with an outstanding performance in the competition. On this occasion, the current RERA Chairman and Member, Mr. Vivek Kumar Singh, dazzled everyone with his profound knowledge of music.

As a prize, renowned historian and author Mr. Manek Premchand presented his book, "Soulfully Yours," based on the life of the legendary musician Ravi.

The entire program was successfully hosted by Dr. Mukund Jagannathan, a renowned plastic surgeon and singer from Mumbai. He also posed questions to the audience during the competition. Participants who answered correctly were presented with chocolates from the stage, maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiasm and participation in the auditorium.

Present on this occasion were Professor and Audio-Video Consultant Mr. Kamal Malhotra from Mumbai, Chairman and Member of RERA Mr. Vivek Kumar Singh, Director of Cultural Affairs Mrs. Ruby, Film Advisor of Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation Mr. Arvind Ranjan Das, department officials, employees, and a large number of listeners and music lovers.

The program was held in a highly engaging, informative, and entertaining atmosphere, providing a memorable presentation of the musical legacy of the great musician Ravi.
