Noida Police Issues Traffic Advisory for Kanwar Yatra 2025
To ensure safe passage for Kanwariyas in Gautam Buddh Nagar, goods vehicles traveling from Delhi to nearby NCR towns will face restrictions from 10 pm on July 11 to July 25, 2025.;
Starting July 11, heavy and commercial vehicles traveling from Delhi towards Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Moradabad, and nearby areas will face restrictions until July 25. One lane will be reserved for Kanwariyas, while the other will handle light vehicles.
Key highways and routes connecting Delhi, Uttarakhand, and western UP will have traffic diversions to avoid jams and ensure safety. Authorities have set up a WhatsApp group for real-time coordination between states.
Some important diversions:
Goods vehicles from Delhi via Red Light and DND Flyway must use the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Vehicles from Anand Vihar and Ghazipur borders also need to take the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Movement between Delhi Red Light and Pahadi Vihar Gate will be completely banned for goods vehicles.
Essential and government vehicles are exempted.
