Patna Regional Passport Office Holds First Mobile Van Camp in Arwal

Around four lakh passport applications were processed by the Regional Passport Office, Patna in the year 2024. Be it known that from 12.05.2025, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has started issuing passports with chip at Regional Passport Office, Patna. Due to increasing number of applicants at Post Office Passport Seva Kendras and lack of Post Office Passport Seva Kendras in Aswal District, "Passport Seva Mobile Van Camp is being organized for the first time at Indoor Stadium, Collection Complex, Arwal by Regional Passport Office, Patna. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Swadha Rizvi, Regional Passport Officer, Patna and Mrs. Abhilasha Sharma, District Officer, Arwal on 02 December 2025 in the morning. To be held at 11:00 a.m. A total of eleven camps have been held since April 2024. This camp is the twelfth to be held in Arwal after being held in Siwan, Gopalganj, Purnia, Police District, Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura.

Fresh and re-issue passport applications will be accepted in this camp. 55 appointment slots will be released daily for this camp. Applications for PCC, applications withheld for any reason or certificate and applications taken online without prior notice will not be accepted in this camp.
