Next week, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled states will be briefed on Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military strikes targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Sources indicate that these leaders, including those from the election-bound state of Bihar, will be in New Delhi on May 25. They are expected to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the strikes, as well as the ceasefire that was announced on Saturday. Following the Prime Minister’s address to the nation late last night, NDA allies have rallied behind the government’s actions, which were in response to the terrorist attack on April 22 in Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

Chandrababu Naidu, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), praised the Prime Minister’s speech, calling it a defining moment for India’s new defense doctrine. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Naidu stated, “The PM’s address was a clear message of strength to Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and to the world. While we pursue peace, history teaches us that lasting peace is achieved through strength. We must have Zero Tolerance towards terrorism.”

Naidu also highlighted India’s growing defense capabilities, emphasizing the role of Made-in-India defense technology in modern warfare. “This shows our readiness to protect our nation and makes every Indian proud,” he added.

The Andhra Pradesh CM also reiterated the Prime Minister’s stance on future talks with Pakistan. He stated that any dialogue would focus solely on terrorism and PoK, with no room for nuclear blackmail. “India will not tolerate such threats and will respond with precise and decisive actions against terrorist networks,” he concluded in his post.

Meanwhile, starting today, state units of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a 10-day Tiranga Yatra across the country. The initiative will highlight the achievements of the armed forces involved in the operations against terror camps in Pakistan. The BJP will conduct an extensive outreach program to detail the destruction of terrorist bases and the significant damage inflicted on these networks.
