Royal Enfield is now gearing up to join the competition in the electric two-wheeler segment. The design of the company's upcoming electric bike came out in the form of a patent image, which shows very interesting and unique elements. This design can come with many features like:-

The design of this bike resembles a classically styled bobber, which includes a long stretched front part, single seat and open rear fender. However, the presence of a saree guard makes it clear that it will also have a pillion seat.

The chassis design is completely unique, which includes the loop of the frame over the 'fuel tank' area. Such a design is rare in the world of production motorcycles. Apart from this, a girder fork has been used, which is inspired by classic motorcycles from almost a century ago.

The battery pack is one of the most difficult parts of the frame, in which the battery casing and motor housing are integrated into one unit. The design is similar to the S2 models from Harley-Davidson's electric subsidiary, LiveWire.

The bike features a belt drive on the right side, disc brakes at both ends and a braced swingarm, which appears to be made of cast aluminium. While the rear suspension is not visible, a closer look reveals a monoshock attached to the upper swingarm element.

With the filing of the design patent, the launch of this Royal Enfield electric bike seems to be near. The first L-platform model is expected to hit the market in 2025.
