Tragic Road Accident in Hathras: 15 Dead, 18 Injured in Bus Collision
Roadways Bus Collides with Max Loader Returning from Memorial Feast, Authorities Rush to Aid as Several Remain in Critical Condition
A major road accident has taken place in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. A roadways bus hit the Max loader riders who were returning after eating the thirteenth-day feast. 15 people died in the accident while many were injured. Commissioner Chaitra V said that 15 people died in the accident while 18 people were injured. The dead include seven men, four women and four children. On receiving information about the accident, Commissioner Chaitra V, IG Shalabh Mathur, DM Ashish Kumar and SP Nipun Agarwal reached the district hospital and inquired about the injured.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Nipun Agarwal said that the accident took place on Friday evening when the bus collided with a van while trying to overtake on the Agra-Aligarh National Highway. He said that 12 people died in the incident while 16 others were injured, who have been admitted to the government hospital. He said that the condition of four of the injured is said to be critical. The passengers were going from Hathras to Agra.
According to the information, people had gone to Mukund Kheda in Sasni to eat the thirteenth-day feast in a Max Loader. The accident victims were going to the village Sewala near Khandauli. Then a roadways bus hit the vehicle near Meetai village in the Chandapa police station area Agra Aligarh bypass. More than 12 people are said to be injured in the accident. The condition of many of them is said to be critical. As soon as the information about the accident was received, senior officials of the police and district administration reached the district hospital.
The videos that have emerged from the spot are very painful. Many children are also said to be among the injured. It can be seen in the video that the police are helping the victims in every possible way. The police were seen helping the injured to the hospital. At present, the treatment of the injured is going on. It is not yet clear whether the passengers on the bus have also been injured or not.
