During the monsoon session of Parliament, while leaders from across the country will gather in Parliament House to discuss issues related to the country's policies... on the other hand, there will be a 'Mahajutan' of web and digital journalists in the capital Delhi.

The meeting of the Delhi NCR chapter of Web Journalists Association of India, the largest organization working for the interests of web journalists, was held at Sector 62 office in Noida. Many important decisions were taken during this meeting chaired by Delhi NCR Chapter President Pankaj Prasoon.

It was decided to organize a large seminar cum convention on the topic 'Future of web and digital journalists' in the last week of July. In this program, the major demands from the central government will be discussed in detail, keeping in view the interests of web journalists. During the meeting, it was decided that at the central level, health insurance of at least Rs 10 lakh for journalists, pension scheme for web and digital journalists, security and legal help for journalists, besides providing land at cheap rates to journalists, the draft will be discussed. Apart from this, it was also decided to hold a seminar session on how web journalists can generate maximum revenue with the help of digital marketing.

Delhi NCR Chapter General Secretary Imran Khan said that the program will be organized on a large scale and many Union Ministers and MPs will also be invited to this program. Along with this, eminent personalities of the media world will also be invited. Delhi NCR Chapter Vice President Roshan Srivastava said that the auditorium and date for organizing the program will be informed soon. Delhi NCR Chapter Co-Secretary Santosh Kumar said that web journalists will be invited from every corner of the country and membership drive will also be started soon.

Pankaj Prasun said that preparations are being made under the guidance of WJAI National President Shri Anand Kaushal ji regarding the organization of the program. Pankaj Prasun said that it will also be requested to the National President Anand Kaushal ji to direct the meeting of the National Committee of WJAI to be held during this program.

For the successful organization of the program, special responsibilities have been assigned to Vice President Subhash Chandra, Joint Secretary Harshnath Jha, Joint Secretary Ashutosh Jha and Treasurer Prakash Kumar, who are part of the Executive Committee of Delhi NCR Chapter. It has also been decided in the meeting that continuous meetings will be organized every week regarding the preparation of the program and the program will be organized in a grand manner under the guidance of the National Committee.
