Today, on 23rd July 2025, Sweety Kumari Srivastava was given a sewing machine for self-employment by Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Officer Shri Rajiv Kumar in Bagaha, West Champaran. Social worker Shailesh Gupta, present on the occasion, said that this machine has been provided by Gaurav Rai's younger brother Mrityunjay Kumar, a resident of Neema, Patna. Shri Rajiv Kumar praised Mrityunjay Kumar and Shailesh Gupta for this work and said that people need to learn from this. Emphasizing on running such social cooperation on a large scale, Shri Rajiv Kumar said that if a group of people help people by collecting money among themselves in this way, then the unemployment spread in rural areas can be reduced if not eliminated. Giving details in this regard, Gaurav Rai, famous as Oxygen Man during the Corona period, said that his campaign to make women self-reliant is now taking shape. Today he, his family and a group of friends are engaged in helping the needy of the society by understanding their needs without an NGO. Apart from this, till now bicycles have been distributed to the needy at different places and sanitary pad vending machines have been installed for girls in about 135 schools and colleges. Shailesh Gupta, social worker of Bagaha, while thanking the donor Mrityunjay Kumar, thanked him.
