In a strong message directed towards Congress and DMK, Union Minister Amit Shah flagged off the "En Mann En Makkal" foot march, a six-month-long padayatra led by the Tamil Nadu BJP. Taking a dig at the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), the grouping of opposition parties, Shah accused them of prioritizing their family's welfare over the country's well-being.

During the event, Amit Shah specifically pointed out the political ambitions of various opposition leaders. He accused Sonia Gandhi of wanting to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister, MK Stalin aiming to make Udaynidhi Stalin the Chief Minister, Lalu Yadav seeking to make Tejaswi CM, Mamata Banerjee wishing to appoint her nephew as CM, and Uddhav Thackeray wanting his son to be the CM. In contrast, Shah praised Prime Minister Modi for his tireless dedication to the nation.

Shah also criticized the opposition's attempts to rebrand themselves under the name "INDIA," claiming that the public still remembers the alleged scams that occurred during their rule, such as the 2G scam, Commonwealth Games scam, and coal scam.

The Union Minister further accused the DMK government of being the most corrupt in the country, labeling it as a "mafia government." He questioned the presence of Senthil Balaji in the cabinet and implied that his resignation would expose secrets.

Highlighting their own leader, K Annamalai, Shah referenced a tweet that exposed crores of scam, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Regarding the DMK government's performance, Shah accused them of failing to fulfill over 500 promises made by MK Stalin, instead alleging that they have allowed the state to be plagued by illegal wine and sand mafia operations. He further criticized the government for its handling of the Tamil Nadu Electricity generation and distribution and accused them of fostering an anti-poor environment.
