At the 78th Cannes Film Festival, actor Tom Cruise made a striking and memorable entrance by riding a motorcycle, capturing the attention of fans and media alike. The 62-year-old arrived on the French Riviera for the much-anticipated premiere of his latest movie, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

A video shared by Vogue India shows Cruise cruising in an all-black outfit, flanked by security and cheered on by excited fans. Later, he emerged from his hotel, smiling and waving warmly to the crowd before switching to a sleek black tuxedo, complete with a white shirt, bow tie, and stylish sunglasses, as he headed to the festival by car.

Tom Cruise stepped onto the red carpet, a live orchestra played the iconic Mission: Impossible theme, setting the tone for the evening. Cruise was joined by co-stars Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and others as they greeted the audience and posed for photos. In a heartfelt moment, Cruise embraced Cannes director Thierry Frémaux, expressing his excitement and gratitude.

The evening’s highlight was the premiere of the eighth — and possibly final — installment in the beloved spy franchise. The film wowed the audience with thrilling action sequences, including a jaw-dropping three-minute knife fight scene performed by Cruise aboard a submarine wearing only boxer shorts. The movie was met with a five-minute standing ovation, a testament to its intense stunts and Cruise’s dedication.

After the screening, Cruise took a bow to thank the crowd and shared a warm moment with director Christopher McQuarrie and the rest of the cast.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will release in India on May 17, ahead of its global release on May 23.
