BCM Ludhiana Students Storm to Top as CCCC 13.0 Leaderboard Gets Major Shakeup

Defending champions Anhad Kaur and Divya Dhiman claim National Rank 1 in second online round while DPS Patna's winners drop to sixth position

Students from BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, have delivered an outstanding performance in the second online round of the prestigious National Inter-School Cryptic Crossword Contest (CCCC) 13.0, securing top national ranks and reaffirming the school’s academic excellence.

As the contest advances, the competition is becoming increasingly intense. The winning duo of the Practice Round and First Online Round, Nanya Dev Singh and Tanmay Kashyap from DPS Patna, have slipped to sixth position this time, while the national leaderboard now features several new contenders making their mark.

National Achievements:

 Rank 1: Anhad Kaur and Divya Dhiman showcased exceptional teamwork and analytical prowess to clinch the top spot nationally.

 Rank 2: Abhishek Dhanda, competing individually, demonstrated remarkable skill to secure second place at the national level.

 Rank 3: Sahil S Sabne and Raaghav S Kanegaonkar from SES Gurukul, Pune.

State-Level Champions from Across India:

 Bihar: Dhairya Pandey (Don Bosco Academy, Patna)

 Telangana: Arnav Gupta and Shashank Gowda (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School)

 Madhya Pradesh: Deev Pandey and Aditi Matta (DPS Bhopal)

 Maharashtra: Akshita Gupta and Garvita Miglani (DPS, Pune)

 Delhi: Medhansh Mridul and Vedhas Marathe (Kendriya Vidyalaya, JNU)

 Jharkhand: Shivangi Singh and Krish (DPS, Ranchi)

 West Bengal: Soumyajit Ghosh (Vision International School, Hooghly)

 Uttar Pradesh: Shashkam Jain and Avni Jain (Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad)

 Tamil Nadu: B. Akshita and Pranati. P (DPS, Coimbatore)

 Punjab: Abhinav Gupta and Shrey Jain (DPS Ludhiana)

 Andhra Pradesh: Sujay Karumuri and Valivarthi Varma (Nalanda Vidyanikethan, Krishna)

 Himachal Pradesh: Mannat Chauhan and Gunjan Kaundal (DAV Sr Sec Public School, Shimla)

To boost participation and offer more opportunities to qualify, offline City Rounds are also being conducted across various locations. Patna and Bhopal will host their City Rounds on Tuesday, respectively, at CIMP, Patna and Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal.

Following the Patna and Bhopal rounds, additional City Rounds will be organised on August 16 at IIT Delhi, on August 18 at Miles Bronson Residential School, Guwahati, and on August 19 at i-Hub, Ahmedabad.

These city rounds not only serve as a direct qualifying platform for the CCCC Grand Finale but also foster a love for wordplay, logic, and language among students.

The CCCC 13.0 continues to engage and challenge young minds across India, promoting logical reasoning, vocabulary development, and teamwork. The third and final online round is scheduled for 17th August 2025 and will be held at www.crypticsingh.com.
