Under the Chakra series, two Kirti Chakras and ten Shaurya Chakras were awarded, including one Shaurya Chakra posthumously. Other gallantry awards include one Bar to Sena Medal (Gallantry) and 44 Sena Medals (Gallantry), five of them posthumous.

Major Arshdeep Singh was honoured for his actions on May 14, 2025, when he led a special patrol along the Indo-Myanmar Border that came under sudden and unprovoked fire from a dominating height. Major Shivkant Yadav of 5th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces), received the Shaurya Chakra for leading his squad on the night of May 12–13, 2025, in the inhospitable terrain of Shopian district. He pursued terrorists under heavy fire, neutralised a Category ‘A’ terrorist in close-quarter combat and enabled the successful elimination of the remaining terrorists.

Major Vivek of 42 Rashtriya Rifles was awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his actions on May 15, 2025, during a cordon and search operation in Pulwama district. Major Leishangthem Deepak Singh of 11 Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces), was honoured with the Shaurya Chakra for spearheading a high-risk rescue and kinetic operation involving kidnapped civilians.
