Two weeks have passed, and nothing has been done: The protests of Sachin Pilot against his own government continue.
Rajasthan: On Sunday, former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot declared that his opposition to Ashok Gehlot's administration would continue. Pilot has vowed to remain steadfast in his opposition to his government's efforts to combat corruption under the previous BJP administration. Even though a former deputy chief minister (CM) said that it has been two weeks since his one-day fast on April 11 that no action has been taken in such circumstances.
"So far, no action has been taken,"
Speaking the truth and speaking out against injustice and corruption are among the principles of the Congress party. On April 11, I observed a one-day fast in accordance with these values. Since two weeks ago, nothing has been done, according to Sachin Pilot.
Pilot addressed the media after offering prayers at the Jharkhand Temple (Shiv Temple). He said, "So, again I am politely requesting the government to fulfil the promises we had made to the people," adding that now even calling for action against corruption is being labelled as "anti-party" activity.
ACB intervened.
He applauded the Anti-Corruption Bureau's (ACB) initiative, which resulted in the arrest of several dishonest IAS, IPS, RAS, and other officers. "We all applaud the ACB's raids on multiple corrupt personnel, which the Chief Minister himself claimed to have carried out. But we never threatened to detain a patwari or officer when he took office after spending five years in opposition. In relation to the corruption incidents that occurred during Vasundhara Ji's administration, we had previously stated that we will act.
Following the Pilot's one-day fast, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the ACB had detained a number of corrupt IAS and IPS officers, something that had never before occurred in the nation.
Pilot asserted, "I believe it is in the interest of the party if we all bring up corruption committed by the BJP or if I bring up corruption concerns from the former Vasundhara Raje administration and demand action on them.
