Narendra Modi Pays Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee at ‘Sadaiv Atal’ Memorial on Birth Anniversary

On the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the "Sadaiv Atal" memorial in Delhi on Wednesday to pay tribute to him. On this occasion, PM Modi laid a floral tribute and remembered Atal ji's contributions to the nation.

Prime Minister Modi described Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a figure in Indian politics who set an example with his conduct, dignity, and unwavering commitment to national interests. He said that Atal ji's public life teaches that true leadership is not determined by position, but by conduct and values.

Remembering Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, "On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, I had the privilege of visiting his memorial, "Sadaiv Atal" in Delhi today to pay tribute to him. His life dedicated to public service and national service will always inspire the countrymen."

In his message, the Prime Minister quoted a Sanskrit line, saying that the actions of great leaders guide society. PM Modi said that this philosophy was clearly visible throughout Atal Bihari Vajpayee's political career, where he placed the nation above personal interests.

PM Modi said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee's conduct, ideological firmness, and dedication to national interest are a model standard for Indian politics. He proved through his life that excellence is established not by power or position, but by character and action.

The Prime Minister also said that Atal ji's birth anniversary is an opportunity for all of us to learn from his thoughts and values. His life will always remain a guiding light in India's democratic history.
