Vijay Kumar Chaudhary Directs IPRD to Take ‘Saat Nischay-3’ to Every Household in Bihar
Information and Public Relations Department to intensify outreach across 15 key development themes and counter misinformation through print, digital, social media and grassroots campaigns.
The Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) will disseminate information about the state government's "Saat Nischay-3" to every household. While reviewing departmental work on Tuesday, department minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary directed that this ambitious scheme be effectively disseminated. Furthermore, misinformation and rumors will be immediately refuted. He reviewed the progress of work at the Information and Public Relations Department at the Information Building and emphasized the need to disseminate the state's key schemes through various promotional mediums.
Work underway on 15 key themes for a developed Bihar
Minister Chaudhary reviewed the department's various promotional mediums. He stated that the IPRD is disseminating the government's policies, programs, and achievements to the public through print, electronic media, radio, digital platforms (Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram), outdoor hoardings, flexes, chat bots, and influencers.
The department will specifically focus on 15 key themes, including employment generation, law and order, tourism, women's empowerment, police modernization, urban development, industrial development, climate change, infrastructure, social security, education, agriculture, health, and sports. The review revealed that the department takes prompt action against misinformation and plays a vital role in managing natural disasters, maintaining peace and social harmony. Public feedback is collected through various channels and conveyed to the government.
Main Schemes of the Information and Public Relations Department
The department's work primarily includes the Regional Publicity Scheme, Special Integrated Scheme, Tribal Area Sub-Scheme, Bihar State Journalist Honor Pension Scheme, Bihar State Journalist Insurance Scheme, Bihar Diary-Calendar Publication, State Information Center Operation, Outdoor Publicity, and Journalist Certification and Welfare.
Public Relations Officers for All Departments
During the review, it was revealed that Public Relations Officers have been appointed in all departments of the state to improve public relations. These officers are actively disseminating accurate information about the schemes to the public. Regular press briefings ensure factual dissemination of government information. The department's goal is to ensure accurate information about government schemes reaches every household and that the state's development is facilitated by public participation.
Department Secretary Anupam Kumar, Director Anil Kumar, Additional Secretaries Rajiv Kumar Singh, Vidhubhushan Chaudhary, Joint Director Ravi Bhushan Sahay, and Special Officer Kumaril Satyanand, along with other senior officials, were present at the meeting.
