Dhurandhar 2 Crosses Rs 537 Crore Domestic Net In Six Days, Eyes Rs 800 Crore Global
Ranveer Singh's spy thriller nets Rs 102 crore on Day 1, peaks at Rs 114.85 crore on Day 4; worldwide gross crosses Rs 844 crore as film targets Rs 1,000 crore before second weekend
Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge shows no signs of slowing down at the box office, crossing Rs 536.69 crore in domestic net collections by the midpoint of its sixth day on Tuesday — firmly establishing itself as one of the fastest-ever Indian films to reach elite box office milestones.
The film's run has been nothing short of historic. After collecting Rs 43 crore in paid previews on Day 0, it opened to Rs 102 crore on Day 1 — the first Hindi film ever to cross Rs 100 crore net on opening day. Collections dipped to Rs 80.72 crore on Day 2 before surging to Rs 113 crore on Day 3 and peaking at Rs 114.85 crore on Day 4. A typical Monday correction brought in Rs 65 crore on Day 5, before Day 6 mid-day tracking by Sacnilk showed Rs 17.57 crore with evening shows yet to be counted.
On the worldwide front, the film has already grossed Rs 844.76 crore — powered by Rs 619.76 crore from the domestic Indian market and Rs 225 crore from overseas territories. Trade analysts tracking the film's mid-week holds predict it will breach the Rs 1,000 crore global barrier before its second weekend, comfortably outpacing the predecessor Dhurandhar, which had released in December 2025.
Released on March 19, Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi alias Hamza Ali Mazari — an undercover operative who infiltrates criminal and political networks to dismantle terror structures from within, against the backdrop of the 26/11 attacks and India's 2016 demonetisation. The ensemble cast includes Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film runs 229 minutes and carries an A certificate from the CBFC for graphic violence and strong language.
